Well two weeks after the server started to misbehave I've finally got the sites back online. As you probably know from the status updates over the last two weeks, the HDD in the server was corrupted. It took Flexihostings quite a few days to work out that was the problem and then everything went to poopie. I have never had such a frustrating experience of trying to get answers from Flexihostings about a replacement server and where they had the backup data. Needless to say my faith in them has been severely dented by the whole messy process. Anyway we are back now so here's hoping the server doesn't explode again. Thanks for your patience while we sorted this all out.

In a repeat of the TAD RTSL Season 6 grand final, the decider for Season 7 will be played out between hope and =SMR=. hope were the champions of last season's encounter - as well as the season beforehand - so can they make it a hat-trick with a victory in Season 7? You be the judge! ZwerG and |2k| will be battling it out to determine who claims third place. Meanwhile, sign-ups for RTSL TAD Season 8 have just opened. Sign-up your clan here. Remember, RTSL makes use of the fan patch, so it is a great way to lend some support to the fan patch, in addition to getting in some matches on a more balanced version of the game. You have until the 22nd of January to register your clan if you wish to participate.

Introducing [hope] Clan's AOE3 World Series! |
|
|

We're at it again folks; and this time we are proud to present to you [hope] Clan's AOE3 World Series! This is going to be a somewhat special tournament, and is a celebration of the AOE3 community who have stuck by and continue to enjoy the game. With this in mind, the organisers have worked hard to create a tournament which is sure to be thoroughly enjoyable for all the players involved; and with a prize pool of $1,500, it will no doubt be rewarding too! The tournament will feature new ideas, from region-based group leagues for efficient early round scheduling; to 2 independant final 32-player knockout tournaments, both of which will include the ever-popular loser brackets employed in the successful Last Man Standing tournament. Further good news follows, as we are closely working with our contributors and donators to plan another series of tournaments to follow [hope] Clan's AOE3 World Series. In fact, we are in the early development stage of another 3 tournaments this year, all of which will include the same high level of generous prizes up for grabs. 2010 is certainly looking bright for AOE3! Signups, with tournament rules and regulations, will follow the release of TAD Fan Patch 1.2. Stay sharp!

The Legion Clan is hosting a large cash prize tournament for Age of Empires 2: The Conquerors (AoC) - The Brain Champion Cup 3. A prize pool of $11,300 is up for grabs, so it's worth entering if you think your AoC skills aren't too rusty after all these years! You can find more details and sign-up for the tournament here. Currently no details are available as to when sign-ups will close, although the tournament is scheduled to begin on the 11th of January. You can discuss the tournament in the thread on our forums.
